Regular diffuser attachments only change the airflow from the hair dryer to your curls. They have no impact on the heat, frizz control, and hydration needed for delicate curly hair, all of which is hair dryer dependent. And not all hair dryers are built for waves, curls, and coils. Diffusers may also feel clunky or fall off the hair dryer if not fitted properly.
